I'm a multimedia journalist who's interested in intersectional human-driven stories. I live to shine a light on narratives reflecting the wider world's communities, issues and solutions. At the moment, I am a CBC News summer scholar producing radio segments with the Current before heading to Whitehorse for local coverage.
I have 250+ bylines and radio stories across newsrooms and freelancing. I've covered breaking news and performance as a staff reporter with the Toronto Star, and local news as a staff reporter at the Ottawa Citizen. I've also covered Parliamentary and national affairs with the Globe and Mail, local and provincial beats with CBC Montreal’s morning radio show, and the intersection of politics and climate with Canada’s National Observer. My arts criticism work has tackled Fringe festivals, Bluesfest, Broadway Across Canada and more. My fact-checking work appears in Maisonneuve Magazine, Maclean’s and others. I also spent two years as a communications officer with the federal public service.
I have an honours bachelor’s degree in journalism and law from Carleton University, where I was awarded the Senate Medal for finishing in the top 3 per cent of my class. I served as an arts editor, news editor and managing editor at the university's student-led newspaper, the Charlatan, authoring more than 50 bylines, editing, posting and promoting hundreds of stories, and designing three 24-page magazine layouts. In 2026 alongside my colleagues, I won a national student journalism award in community service reporting for coverage on the university's financial deficit.
When I'm not chasing stories, I enjoy travelling the world, catching up on my “to watch movies” list and folding origami ducks. To me, there’s nothing more rewarding than a life rife with stories.
